Strange Questions That You've Asked

I was just wondering if anyone's ever asked any really strange questions, for example, when I was younger and I went in a taxi to school, I had already been asked about different people had different colored skin, so I asked several of the taxi drivers what color their skin was! One or 2 of them answered, but I didn't realize until later on that another found it quite rude to be asked something like that.

I once asked what does a color look like.

When I was little, I heard a conversation between a neighbor lady and I forgot who else. I wasn't paying too much attention but did hear the neighbor mention something about "old". So I asked her "How old are you?", not knowing that could be offensive and was told by her to shut up. (I still don't think that's a weird question, since I wouldn't see the point of lying or being embarrased about my age but that's just me.) But yeah, I guess that'd be my weird question.

Some times, when I've been having a conversation with someone whose name I can't remember, I'll ask them to spell it for me.

When I was younger I used to wonder why certain things were such things, for example why is a car called a car? And where words come from? That kind of thing

I asked someone once when I was younger how they could tell the difference between a male and female dog. Obviously I know the difference now, but I didn't at the time.

When my son, who is congenitally blind, was about 9 years old, I had the big sex talk with him. I sweated through the whole thing, trying to give him all the age-appropriate information, but not leave anything of importance out. When we were done, I asked him with a sigh of relief if he had any questions. He said that he had just one…”why do some women have little ones and some have great big ones?” You should all be proud of me…I waited until he left before cracking up and falling on the floor. Lol

Hahahahahaha! That's hilarious! I don't remember asking anything strange of anyone during my childhood.

I asked one of my teachers at school when I was younger how old they were and they told me but said it wasn't polite to ask someone how old they are, but I agree with the other person who said that they don't mind telling people how old they are. I never saw any problem with that anyway, because I thought the adults ask us how old we are when we're children, so why not?

same thing. When I met a former vision teacher back in second grade, (I was ... oh, eight or nine at the time), I asked him his age, and mom told me off for that after we had gone home from school. So, ever since then, I've not bothered asking people about their age if they are older than me.

When I was about 4, we were riding in a cab. A lady stepped out in front of it, and the driver had to slam on the breaks to avoid hitting her. I didn't have a seatbelt, and I slid off my seat, and all the way under the dashboard. I really enjoyed my little adventure, and after I sat back down and everyone was ok, I asked him if he could please do that again.
